I can't believe that the last time I posted a blog was back in January 2023 - I'd planned on posting on a regular basis but I guess it shows just how busy I've been.
I've increased the number of Art Shows that I'm taking part in and they have proved to be very successful, with more prints sold already this year than the last two years combined - and I've still got another two to do before the end of 2023.
There have also been a number of trips around the UK - a couple of them being holidays, although the majority were for purely photographic purposes.
I mentioned in a previous blog that I needed to get a campervan and I've finally gone and bought one - this has made life so much easier, in that I can be on location the night before and only have a short journey for any sunrises - trips already made in the campervan have included the Peak District and several visits to Dorset. Further trips have also been planned for the Gower Peninsula, the Forest of Dean and the Lake District before planning start for next year.
Trying to surpass this year will take some doing but I'm more focussed and excited than I've been for some time - hopefully, I'll be chasing more wildlife - Short Eared Owls, Barn Owls, Seals and hares, in particular, while Skye, Scotland, Dorset and Norfolk will be added to the usual stopovers in the Peak District and Lake District for any landscape photography.
With two more shows to complete and three more trips (at least) to undertake before the end of 2023, I think it unlikely that there will be another blog this year so can I say "thank you", once again, to all those who have supported me this year and wish you all a very "Merry Xmas and Happy New Year" - yes, I know it's only October but it's never too early to get in the festive spirit!!
