Time to get back out there!

Well, it's been a while since my last blog and that's mainly due to a feeling that it simply wasn't right to be travelling around the country taking photographs.

As you will see from the website, most of the images have been taken on our travels around the UK and trying to get something locally hasn't been easy.

It's only in the last couple of weeks that I decided to look around the local area, with the intention of getting something a little different to my usual dramatic scenes and I have to admit that it's taken me out of my comfort zone.

I have persevered though and managed to get a couple of shots that I like, so the exercise has been useful, along with improving my skills.

However, I feel that I need to get back up to the Lake District or the Peak District and rediscover some of the areas that I'm missing - the problem now is that I don't know which area to choose!

The shots that I'm after are, obviously, the autumn colours and there are so many good spots to choose - if I manage to get out this week, then it may be a case of getting in the car and seeing which way I end up heading - probably not the best of plans but it may be the only way the decision will get made!

One bit of good news is that Thame Art Crawl is on and I will have some pictures on display in the AGA shop in Thame high street - the exhibition features several other artists and will run from Thursday 15th - Sunday 18th October 2020.

One from a wander along a local river.
