The busiest time of year

Wow, where did this year go?!
While there have been plenty of Art Shows throughout the year, the opportunities for getting out with the camera has been limited - the biggest influence on this has been a knee replacement, with the start being hampered by not knowing when the operation would take place, followed by a longer recovery than expected afterwards.
However, whilst still not fully recovered, September onwards should present plenty of trips away - East Yorkshire, the Lake District, Devon, North York Moors and the Lake District again are all on the calendar, with the possibility of one or two others thrown in as last minute getaways.
With the lack of visits in the early part of the year, I am now playing catch up in order to get some images for next year's Art Shows - no pressure there then!
With regards this year's Art Shows, it has proved to be my best year ever for sales - as far as I'm aware, I've done nothing different to previous years but sales have doubled and I'm delighted that so many people like what I'm producing to go on their walls.
If anyone is interested, the shows for the remainder of the year are as follows:
Visual Images Group exhibition at National Trust Hughenden Manor
- 12th - 21st September 2025
Thame Art Crawl
- 11th - 19th October 2025
Reading Rotary Club Art and Craft Fair
- 24th 26th October 2025
Waterperry Christmas Art and Craft Fair
- 22nd - 23rd November 2025
And then we start planning for next year's shows!!
Hopefully, you'll manage to get along to one of them - they are definitely worth visiting as there is a wealth of talent on show from some very good artists.
