It's now been 3 or 4 weeks since we've managed to get out with the cameras and, to make matters worse, work then managed to get in the way when we had the first deluge of snow - I tried to get back in time to do something in the evening but a 30 minute drive turned into a 2 hour journey and the opportunity was missed.
The main reason we haven't been out is that we've both had the dreaded cold/cough that has been doing the rounds, but enough is enough, and we will be out this weekend come what may - especially as I've yet to try out the new lens and polariser!
In the meantime, I've finally joined the 21st Century and found YouTube - I've spent several hours over the last few weeks discovering other photographers and it has been illuminating and very educational.
